Distance Learning
Dear Sirs/Madams,
I know I said that I'd call this on Saturday but did you know that in Europe it's already Saturday? Well, now you do. So, in that spirit I'm calling this one. I have picked At_Large over the beloved Log because, in the end, A_L was the first blog to link here and that's as good as a vote for himself, in my book at least. As good as, you'll notice I said there. You have to wonder though: what kind of self hating bastard links to this site but doesn't vote for himself? Compelling though it may be, dissecting At_Large's apparent self-hatred must end for now, there is a new Link Battle to kick-off. Oh, yeah, right...Go!
Link Battle, Round VII
Did I mention this one's all about Canada? No, well it is.
Breebop is from Vancover, I assume from her blog's many icons. Then again, you know what they say: "when you assume you make an ass out of u and me" and you know what I say to them: "learn to spell" then I flip 'em the bird harder than ever.
vs.
Blu Goo Ate My Mom is from somewhere called: Waterloo Ontario Canada. Shouldn't there be some kind of punctuation in that location name? Fuck if I know, I'm not from in Canada. Yeah, you heard me right.
So, there you go. Our neighbors to the North await your summary judgment. And if they find they're way to reading this fight card I strongly urge them to vote and keep a spare bed for me just in case Bush gets reelected in '04.
Never fevered, always full. Robbing you of your vote since 2003.
I have no idea what this is, but yes, I am from Vancouver. Thanks for linking to me.

I too would like to thank you for linking to my site and I would also like to say to Bree in regular Mike Tyson before fight psyching that I am going to eat her children :) Joking joking!

I'm all for BreeBop's twisted sense of irony - peter jackson's story of LOTR better than Tolkien's - now that's hi-lar-i-ous stuff. BreeBop is my vote.
over and out,

I've never read the LOTR books but I've read that opinion in a few great reviews...Anthony Lane (a considerable Tolkien sentimentalizer) came close to saying just that although he eventually said that they were two distinct versions of the same story. Fence sitter.

After reading Troy's Wednesday post titled "Internal Server Error" I'm not sure that I really understand what his blog is all about.
Consider this passage, "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, wwwadmin@quitehappy.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Yeah, that means nothing to me. My vote, for now: Bree

It was an actual server error. I screwed up something in my .htaccess because I was having referral spam problems. Oh well. :)

Breebop. For a while I thought I was going to have to vote against my neighbor to the north, but she pulled it out in the end. Hope it didn't hurt.

In light of their nation's superior health care policies, I'm too jealous of both candidates cast an unbiased vote. But I'm going to go with Troy, for reasons undeclared.

I'm letting this battle go on for a bit longer while I re-work the whole link battle. Maybe the last of it's kind, I'm letting Link Battle Round VII go for at least another day. Vote now or never.
